OUR FAITH-THE APOSTLES' DOCTRINE

We Believe

....

ever-present eternal Father, the source

of all goodness, truth, and

love

who

manifested Himself as

the

Father in

creation, the son

(Jesus Christ)

redemption and as the

Holy Ghost in the church.

• in the Divine inspiration of the scriptures and that the Word

God

is the

sufficient rule of

faith and

practice, and the final

authority for truth

and

salvation.

• in the deity of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross in our

place

as the

supreme sacrifice for

sin, was buried in

a tomb, but

rose

again on the

third day

and is now exalted as King of kings and

the

Lord of lords and

will soon

return

to earth with all power and

Glory.

• in the original plan of salvation which includes: repentance,

baptism by

immersion in water

in the name of

Jesus Christ, and

receiving the gift of the

Holy Ghost, with the evidence of

speaking

other tongues. (Acts 2)

• in living a life of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly, for

the

Word of

God declares that

believers should

be holy as He is

holy. (I

Peter 1:16)

• in the Church, established by the Lord as a spiritual

community for

worship, stewardship,

and service to

God and men.

• in the Judgment Day, when all men will stand before God to

account for

their lives, where the

unconverted

will be punished, and

the

true Christians will

receive their just rewards.

• in tithing and offerings as the method of supporting the work

of the

Lord,

as ordained in

Malachi 3:8-10.
